I believe the future of creative work lives somewhere between AI-driven efficiency and proper craftsmanship. AI’s opened the floodgates when it comes to speed, experimentation, and exploring ideas — brilliant for pushing boundaries and turning thoughts around quickly. But let’s be honest, good taste, instinct, and knowing what actually resonates? That still comes from people who know what they’re doing.
My approach is about using AI as a creative edge, not a replacement for authorship. Plenty are churning out soulless generated work by the dozen, but refined creative — the sort with depth, detail, and a bit of swagger — still needs a human hand steering the ship. The real value is in the judgement: knowing what to refine, what to bin off, and how to turn rapid experimentation into something genuinely sharp.
Because of that, I’d much rather take on fewer projects and do them properly — focusing on craft, aesthetics, and creating work that actually holds its weight, rather than churning out volume for the sake of it.
